BYS 11/12/23 ๐จ What happens after you fail 3 times?
Three strikes and you're out only applies to baseball.
In real life you get as many swings as you like and a lifetime number of times at-bat.
Knock it out of the park in today's Big Yellow Sticky...
Few people give themselves a 4th or 5th try.
After you fail three times it's easy to let doubt and frustration creep in.
After all, America's favorite pastime says "you're out" after three strikes, and you only get three chances to guess the answer to the riddle, and even Goldilocks only had three chairs, three beds, and three bowls of porridge to choose from.
After your third attempt at something fails you might start questioning your abilities and wonder if it's time to throw in the towel. The fear of a fourth failure can be daunting, and you'll likely be tempted to give up.
It's crucial to remember that three strikes don't define your entire journey. The most significant breakthroughs come after a series of setbacks (Edison's 1,000+ attempts to find a working filament for his lightbulb is legend), so don't let the fear of a fourth or fifth (or 500th!) try hold you back. Use those first three failures as valuable lessons and summon the resilience within you to press on and prove that you're capable of achieving your goals despite a few swings and misses.
Batter-up!
Your journey is unique and the number of tries doesn't matter as long as you keep striving for your goals with unwavering resolve.
Success often requires persistence and some of the most remarkable stories of achievement have been authored by those who refused to surrender after a few initial failures.
