Pushing boundaries and testing limits is the key to unlocking your true potential.
You discover the reach of your capabilities within moments of uncertainty and discomfort.
Keep going and read a little further in today's Big Yellow Sticky...
If you don't risk going too far, how will you learn how far you can go?
Embrace challenges that make you feel uncomfortable and push your abilities to the limit.
How do you know how much you can really lift if you never add more weight to your barbell? The more you lift, the more you will be able to lift in the future. You probably can't bench press 200 pounds the first day you begin lifting weights, but if you begin with a starting weight of 75 or 100 pounds and keep practicing and working out on a regular schedule you will continue to increase the maximum amount you successfully lift until you hit (or surpass) your 200 pound goal.
Testing limits and stretching yourself a little further with each attempt fosters personal growth and self-motivation. Pioneers who dared to go beyond the boundaries of the known lands pushed humanity forward and revolutionized industries.
Breakthroughs don't happen in your safety zone -- they spring from audacious minds willing to challenge convention. When you push boundaries you inspire others to do the same, creating a ripple effect of positive change and forward momentum.
Only by venturing into the unknown can you truly understand the breadth of your potential and the profound impact you can have on the world.
