BYS 07/22/23 ๐จ Hitting The Wrong Note
When you're busy getting stuff done it's natural to encounter obstacles or make errors along the way.
You have to remember no one is perfect (not even you) and mistakes are an inevitable part of the learning and growth process.
It's no mistake to keep reading today's Big Yellow Sticky...
You might hit a wrong note,
but you have to play on.
Imagine you're playing a musical instrument in front of an audience.
Despite your best efforts to perform flawlessly, there's always a chance that you might hit a wrong note. It could be nerve-wracking to face that possibility -- especially if you fear judgment or failure -- but even if a mistake happens, it shouldn't stop you from continuing your performance.
The underlying message in today's Big Yellow Sticky is that mistakes don't define you, nor should they dictate your future actions. Recognize that the journey towards mastery involves taking risks and learning from missteps. Each wrong note you encounter is an opportunity to learn, adjust, and improve.
Persevere through challenges and don't let fear or self-doubt hold you back. Resilience, determination, and a positive attitude are vital in the face of adversity. By "playing on" despite the possibility for (or in the face of) mistakes you have to demonstrate courage and a willingness to embrace vulnerability, essential for personal growth and development.
When you hit a wrong note in your career, relationships, or in pursuit of personal goals remind yourself to keep playing on because it's not the end until you stop.
A note to remind you...
