BYS 07/04/23 🟨 Celebrate Independents
Use this Independence Day to celebrate independent entrepreneurs!
Did you know the majority of America's Founding Fathers were also founders of their own business start-ups? This makes July 4th uniquely suited as a day to celebrate independent business people as well as America's independence.
Let freedom ring in today's Big Yellow Sticky...
Celebrate Independents Day
On July 4th America uses this day to commemorate the spirit of freedom and independence, and I think it's a perfect day to also recognize and celebrate the contributions of independent business people (including the majority of our country's Founding Fathers!)
These independent entrepreneurs embody the essence of independence as they courageously step out of the traditional corporate mold to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Independent business people create jobs, drive innovation, and fuel economic growth all while making a profound impact on their communities.
Independent entrepreneurs are the lifeblood of our economy representing a diverse range of industries and sectors. From local artisans and craftsmen to passionate restaurateurs and tech-savvy startups, these independent individuals bring their unique vision, creativity, talent, and determination to the table.
These independents inspire with the risks they take and the challenges they overcome as they strive to turn their ideas into reality. Their unwavering commitment to their vision fosters a sense of entrepreneurship that shapes our society and empowers others to follow their own dreams.
As we celebrate Independence Day, let us also salute these independent entrepreneurs who embody the true spirit of freedom and self-determination. Their relentless pursuit of success even with odds stacked against them by companies with bigger budgets and more resources serves as a reminder that with dedication and hard work, you can forge our own path and create a better future.
Doing your part to support independent businesses in your city not only contributes to the local economy but also fosters a sense of community and craftsmanship.
As you "get your grill on" today and crack open a cold one while you watch fireworks, take a minute to raise a glass (and maybe a hot dog) to those fearless entrepreneurs and their invaluable contributions on this day of independence.
Is there a better day to celebrate independent thinkers than on Independence Day? I'm definitely celebrating having so many independent thinkers as members of this community -- let freedom (of thought and action) ring!
See you tomorrow with a new Big Yellow Sticky!
