BYS 05/27/23 π¨ Full Strength Ideas
Watering down your ideas doesn't make it easier for clients to understand.
Diluting your ideas when you make a pitch just makes them harder to swallow.
Keep it one hundred and read today's Big Yellow Sticky...
Don't Dilute or Water Down your Ideas.
Make it 100% Full Strength!
Quit pandering or talking down to audiences and clients.
Don't let their opinions or expectations (or what you THINK their expectations are) water down the fantastic ideas brewing in that brilliant mind of yours. Authenticity is the name of the game. Stay true to yourself and your vision, and you'll attract the right people who appreciate you (and your ideas) for what you/they truly are.
I get it. It can be tempting to mold your ideas into something more "acceptable" or mainstream just to please others, but it's rarely worth it. Watering down your ideas is doing yourself (and your clients) a disservice.
Your unique perspective and creativity are what make you stand out in the world and among the competition. Don't be afraid to push boundaries, challenge norms, and think outside the box. Trust me, there are people out there craving fresh, original ideas, and they'll flock to you when they see the real deal.
Take a deep breath, gather your courage, and let your ideas flow like a wild river. Embrace the quirks, the uniqueness, and the boldness of your thoughts. It's better to be loved for being yourself than to be liked for being someone you're not.
Plus you'll be bored working on anything other than your most creative concepts!
Always lead with your best and boldest ideas (and never apologize for them). Find the clients who are the best matches for your best ideas.
See you tomorrow with a brand new Big Yellow Sticky!
