Want new ideas? Read an old book.
More than 10 years ago I recall getting advice from best-selling author and King of Sales, Jeffrey Gitomer, that went something like "If you want some new ideas, read a book published more than 70 years ago"; He was referring to Napoleon Hill's masterwork "Think and Grow Rich". It's now been more than 80 years since that book was published, and the ideas within have only gotten fresher with age.
The same advice holds true for finding new ideas within innovations that were made generations ago and today we're going to talk about breathing new life into old ideas.
