Today’s post is a personal shoutout to my baby brother — Happy Birthday!
Take a second today to think about the people who support you, and the people you love to support. Not just when things are going great, but when you're stuck, unsure, or ready to quit.
Everyone needs someone in their corner. Maybe it’s a friend, a mentor, or a sibling. If you’ve got that kind of person in your life, don’t forget give them a little recognition.
My younger brother Joe is celebrating his birthday today and I figured this was a good time to put in writing for all to see just how much I admire his talent as an artist, craftsman, creative thinker, and just all-around good dude. Let this serve as a reminder for you to do the same for the people in your life.
You don’t always notice how much a person matters to you until you pause to look back. Unfortunately, sometimes that moment comes too late for you to tell them to their face how much they mean to you. It’s happened to me, and I want to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Having someone to believe in (and someone to believe in you) can be the difference between giving up and pushing through. So, if someone’s been that person for you, let them know!
