BYS 01/26/25 🟨 Initiating Action
Progress in any endeavor begins with an initiating action.
Momentum refers to the force or speed gained by something in motion, which means momentum cannot occur without a first step to set things in motion.
Take a first step in today's Big Yellow Sticky...
Momentum Starts With Motion.
Momentum doesn’t happen on its own.
Momentum begins when you take the first step.
It doesn’t matter if the step feels small or if you’re not sure it’s the right one. The act of moving forward (even just a little) starts to build energy, and that energy makes it easier to take the next step and then the next.
Sitting still and waiting for the perfect time or perfect plan only keeps you stuck. To build momentum you have to break through the stillness, fear, and indecision to get things moving. Once you’re in motion your efforts begin to compound.
You might not see results immediately (and that’s okay). What matters is that each action, no matter how small, adds to the force that keeps you moving. The key is to start where you are and trust that consistent motion will lead towards building momentum.
